Counselling & Therapy

Life is not always what we expect it to be and every one of us may have a time that we need some additional care and support. These times bring thoughts and feelings which may be hard to cope with. It is during these times that you may consider support through therapy or counselling.

Counselling will offer you a safe, confidential and supportive space to look at any difficulties or distress you might be experiencing. You will be empowered to find and trust your own capabilities and strengths and you will be given practical tools and strategies to address specific issues and challenges.

You might seek counseling when:

  • You have experienced something extreme and painful and struggle coping with it - see trauma counselling

  • You struggle with issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, alcohol…

  • You have concerns about (raising) your children - see parent counselling

  • You feel something is ‘missing’ in your life and would like to talk this through with someone on the outside;

  • Or you might just need a place to vent your feelings and discuss doubts in a confidential setting.

See the counselling process for more information about the way forward.
